His areas of interest include: mathematics, science, technology education and assessment, active learning in mathematics and science, how teachers use technology to enhance student learning, and gender equity issues in mathematics and science education. He is co-author of Teaching with the Internet: Putting Teachers before Technology (1995). Dr. Roddy received a Fulbright Lecturing and Research Award for “Crossing Boundaries: Teaching Teachers to Use Technology that Will Enhance Student Learning in Mathematics and Science Education,” University of Limerick, Ireland September 2000 – February 2001. |
