Application Procedures

  • Begin your application one of three ways: Request an application packet be sent to you in the mail; download an application; or complete an application online on the Graduate Admissions website.

  • Priority deadlines for receipt of all application materials: May 20 for Summer entry; July 20 for Fall entry; November 20 for Winter entry; and February 20 for Spring entry.

  • Complete the Graduate School application and attach the application fee.

  • Request official transcripts be sent either to the student or directly to Seattle University from each college and university attended. Confirm with each institution their policy for issuing official transcripts. If mailed to the student directly, transcripts must remain in their sealed envelopes.

  • Submit two recommendations using the preferred College of Education Recommendation forms. If you complete your application using the online application system, you will be able to distribute the form to your recommenders electronically, and they will be able to submit the forms back to Seattle University's Graduate Admissions electronically as well. If you choose to use a printed recommendation form, then distribute the recommendation forms and designated envelopes. Recommenders must seal and sign the envelopes before returning them to the applicant.

  • Applicants will be notified of their invitation to an interview with the LITC program director.
