Master's Degree Program Specializations
Students can choose to pursue a Master of Arts (M.A.) or a Master of Education (M.Ed.) degree in Educational Administration. Seattle University offers
three specializations at the master's level:
- The Principal Program prepares students to be head of school for public and private K-12. Principal certification requires K-12 certification.
- Program Administration focuses on developing programs in curriculum and instruction, special education, and other areas, including central office level leadership.
- General Administration develops administrators for post-secondary and other organizations other than K-12.
Washington State certification for both principals and program administrators is available as part of the master's degrees or as post-master's programs.
