4 Ways to Enter
There are four ways to attain certification
Master's Degree
Students can earn a Master's of Education (MEd) or Master of Arts in Education (MAEd) and meet the requirements for program administrator credentials.
Post-Master's Program Administrator Certification
Applicants with a master's degree in education review their coursework with the program director to develop a program of study with the courses necessary for certification. Range of credits required: 15-44.
Specialist Degree in Educational Administration
Applicants with a master's degree can earn the EdS with 45 credits including coursework needed to qualify for state certification as a program administrator.
Educational Leadership Program (EdD)
Applicants with a master's degree can earn a doctorate and qualify for certification as a program administrator by enrolling in the Educational Leadership Program.
