The major goal of the Internship and Graduate Project is to provide the student an opportunity to practice and integrate skills and knowledge learned on campus under the supervision of a competent, experienced professional.

Each student is required to successfully complete the written comprehensive examination. This examination may not be taken before the second quarter of the student's internship. All courses need to be completed, except for COUN 518, 565, 566, 567 and electives. The exams are offered each quarter on the third Saturday following the first day of class.

Graduation comes after the completion of all
coursework and other degree requirements and
can occur at the end of any quarter. To qualify
for graduation, the student must first apply
for graduation and then complete all coursework
and examinations, including the comprehensive
examinations, and remove any "holds"
on his or her records (book fines, unpaid late
registration fees, etc.).
