Taking a Course
We have developed partnerships
with numerous school districts, agencies and
organizations to provide credit and/or clock
hours for professional development and continuing
education courses for K-12 educators.
Two levels of professional development credits
are available:
- 900-level post-baccalaureate credit -
for educators and professionals who have
at least an undergraduate degree.
- 800-level professional development credit
- for paraeducators and professionals who
have not yet obtained an undergraduate degree.
Credits earned are post-baccalaureate credits
that may apply toward Washington State teacher
certification and for advancement on the salary
schedule.
However, neither 900- nor 800-level credits
may be applied to degree work without prior
approval from an academic advisor.
The credit fee is $35 per credit.
