Master of Education

The MA in Adult Education requires 48 credits, including a 3-credit internship. Part III and Part IV electives may be selected to create a specialization, as noted below.

Students must work closely with their Advisor in scheduling courses. Some courses have prerequisites required. The quarterly Schedule of Classes lists official schedules and prerequisites. All courses are three academic credits, except those offered for variable credit (AEDT 567 and AEDT 596).

Helping adults improve basic skills in reading, writing, math and / or English as a second language, especially for administrators and instructors working in community colleges or social service agencies.
