Adults leading other adults toward lifelong learningSeattle University College of Education Adult Education and Training Student

As the pace of change accelerates, adults must engage in continuous learning. The Master's Degree in Adult Education and Training blends theory and practice to prepare ethical and reflective practitioners to work with adult learners in education, business, and nonprofit settings. Graduates teach remedial reading and language to adults in the classroom, design and direct corporate training, and consult with diverse adult audiences.

Certificate for New Community College Instructors

The College of Education offers a certificate program to support the success of new community college instructors. Supporting New Faculty Success is a unique, one-year, distance-learning environment that allows participants to take courses from their computer at home, work or wherever they are most comfortable. Participants will master instructional methods, course design, learner development and community college systems - information they will be able to apply within their teaching immediately. The next program begins in January 2013. Learn more about this exciting program.
