Ben Talbert, a College of Education graduate student in the Superintendent Program, is a recipient of the 2014 AASA Education Administration Scholarship award. The $2,000 award for graduate studies was presented to Ben in February at the 2014 AASA National Conference on Education in Nashville, Tennessee. He is one of five national scholarship award winners. Talbot is the principal of Rainier Middle School in Auburn. AASA is the American Association of School Administrators, a national leadership organization supporting school superintendents.
Talbot is the fifth recipient of the AASA scholarship from the College of Education since 2009. Previous Education Administration Scholarship Award winners include:
