Graduate assistantships offer degree-related experience and financial support for graduate students enrolled in the Student Development Administration master's program.
Amount: Compensation for Graduate Assistants for 2013-14 is $15,605 for an average of twenty hours per week. Graduate Assistants are typically employed from approximately September 1 to approximately June 10.
Application Deadline: January 15
Criteria for Selection:In order to be eligible for an assistantship, students must be admitted to Graduate School, enroll for a minimum of six credits per quarter during the time of their assistantship and make satisfactory progress toward their master's degree during their assistantship.
Admission into the graduate program does not guarantee a graduate assistantship. Students should apply to the SDA master’s program at the same time they apply for a graduate assistantship to guarantee they will receive full consideration.
