Paschal Triduum - April 17-20, 2014 (Chapel of Saint Ignatius)

Mark your calendars now!  Come experience the crown and glory of symbol, ritual, music and prayer!

Savor this time.  See the glistening oils, smell the incense and the Oil of Sacred Chrism, taste the bread and wine share, welcome those who are being baptized, feel the coolness of the water, experience the humble service of washing one's feet, touch and hold the cross.  Sing pray, remember, and celebrate.  YOU DO NOT WANT TO MISS THIS.

    • Holy Thursday: Mass of the Lord's Supper - April 17 at 7:30p

      • Washing of the Feet and Silent Prayer & Vigil at the Chapel of Reservation in the Narthex (until midnight)
        • The Pilgrimage with the Archbishop, Auxiliary Bishop and hundreds of young adults of the Archdiocese will arrive by 11:30p for prayer and vigil.
    • Good Friday: Celebration of the Lord's Passion & Death - April 18 at 3:00p

      • Prayers of the People, Veneration of the Cross and simple Communion
    • Holy Saturday: The Great Vigil in the Holy Night of Easter: April 19 at 9:30p

      • Large bonfire in the reflection pool, the chapel is in candlelight, storytelling, baptisms, processions around the reflection pool, then we share communion and feast - the first Eucharist of Easter.  The liturgy goes well into the night (and party after goes longer!)

    • Easter Sunday: normal Mass Schedule
