2012-2013 Public Webinars on Wednesdays 3:00-4:00
Webinars
What are webinars? CCTS offers a series of FREE and public website conferences (webinars) to support schools in providing appropriate secondary transition services. Webinars are broadcasted using Blackboard Collaborate at 3:00 on Wednesdays and each lasts approximately 55 minutes. Upcoming 2012-2013 webinar dates and topics are listed above.
How do I attend an upcoming webinar? To attend an upcoming webinar contact ccts@seattleu.edu and include your name and email address to receive a personalized invitation link to each webinar. CCTS strongly recommends that you visit the Blackboard Collaborate website to test this link and your computer's compatibility with this technology prior to the day of the webinar.
How do I join a webinar TODAY? If you have used Blackboard Collaborate and would like to join a webinar scheduled for today, select the link next to the title of the webinar below. The link becomes live up to 30 minutes before the webinar is scheduled to begin and ceases to work after the webinar ends at 4:00. FREE means that room is limited to the first 100 participants, so we recommend you log in early. Contact ccts@seattleu.edu for technical assistance, however, limited assistance will be available immediately before and during the webinar. If you encounter difficulty opening the program, look for a drop-down yellow bar across the top of your browser or contact Blackboard Collaborate for immediate assistance.
I am having trouble viewing the webinar. What do I do? We recommend checking your system requirements before the webinar at the Blackboard Collaborate Technical Support page. CCTS is available for limited technical support prior to the webinar, but please note we are not available during the webinar or shortly before it. Another resource is your district Information Technology (IT) department.
Can I view an archived webinar? Archived webinars and PowerPoint presentations may be downloaded using links below.
FIVE-MINUTE FEEDBACK: After viewing a webinar CCTS and OSPI ask that you complete the Quality of Professional Development Survey that is sent to your email inbox to provide valuable feedback. Survey results will inform state decisions regarding the future funding and development of secondary transition technical assistance and training materials.
