Redhawk Network Mentor Database
Coming Fall 2009! Students and alumni will have access to the new Redhawk Network Mentor Database. This database includes comprehensive profiles of alumni and professionals from the community who are interested in working with students and recent alumni! The database can be searched by industry, work experience, field of study, common interests and cultural background such as ethnicity, gender, religion, age, disability and sexual orientation.
Mentor activities may include:
- Informational Interview & Job Shadow
- General Career Planning Advice
- Networking and Professional Development Opportunities
- Resume Critiques and Interview Preparation
- Internship Opportunities
- Specific Industry and Occupational Information
(Please note that each mentor relationship is unique and mentors and mentees are encouraged to establish explicit expectations early in the relationship.)
