Self Assessments

Self Assessment is the process of utilizing instruments such as questionnaires to develop and understanding of self including values, interests, aptitudes, abilities, personal traits, and desired life style, and become aware of the interrelationship between self and occupational choice.  Career Services utilizes several tools to help students either narrow or broaden their focus, depending on their individual needs.  These tools include the Strong Interest Inventory (SSI), Meyers Briggs Type Indicator (MBTI), and Discover.  For more information on each test and how to complete each test, please visit the Self Assessments page.

Resource Library

The Resource Library, located in Career Services (Pavilion 110), is open for all students and alumni to use during business hours.  The library holds a large collection of books and periodicals related to all professional development topics, including job searches, self-assessments, and writing cover letters and resumes.  The Resource Library also holds a wealth of materials regarding employers and graduate schools.  Come in to take advantage of any of these resources, or use our public computer to write a resume or search the Redhawk Network.
