Service Immersion

  • Campus Ministry Immersion programs provides transformative faith based opportunities for students to engage in local and global realities.

Campus Ministry service immersion opportunities challenge students to exercise compassion, social analysis and faith reflection in developing world conditions, in a community of learners. These experiences require a demonstrated and lived commitment to faith, service, social justice, and building community.

Campus Ministry invites you to explore participation in one of our service immersion opportunities. Participants will pursue global issues of faith and justice in a community. Our trips in developing countries broaden prior perspectives about how our brothers and sisters live in places where affluence is for the few - not the many.

These programs involve prior intensive participation with weekly required meetings. Participants will travel well grounded in an understanding of the political, social, environmental and justice concerns of that region.

Academic components create community and common concern for social justice around the world through reflection on issues through the lens of our faith.
