Mission and Ministry

Search Retreat

  • You are invited to participate on the Search Retreat organized by Campus Ministry.  Search provides an environment that promotes an exploration of self within the context of community. The retreat comes from Christian roots but people from any or no faith tradition are encouraged and welcomed to participate as the retreat is designed currently to meet a broader understanding of spirituality and self-discovery within the context of community.

The weekend is highlighted by presentations of self-discovery, community, relationships, and faith by students, faculty, and staff.  Search also includes activities such as small and large group sharing, journaling, free reflection time, community celebration, and a variety of events that will make your Search experience memorable and meaningful.  Overall, the weekend is a unique opportunity for you to better understand where you are in your life, develop closer relationships with many members of the campus community, and continue your own journey of self-exploration in various ways.
