    Jewish Student Union (JSU) 

    The JSU exists to provide a place for Jewish students to meet and connect on the SU campus, provide opportunities for the wider community to experience and learn more about Jewish culture and practices through campus wide events and programs. Join us for our first interest meeting of the year and a FREE lunch on September 30 in STCN 210! Also, keep your eyes open for JSU events around the Jewish holidays of Sukkot, Purim, and Passover. 

    Please join us for any/ all of our upcoming meetings on October 21stNovember 4thNovember 18th and December 2nd from 12:30-1:20pm in Campus Ministry.  

    Below are some of JSU's upcoming events:

    Thursday, October 16th at 6pm- Pita in the Hut 
    Join JSU in our sukkah outside the Chapel of St. Ignatius as we celebrate the harvest holiday with a delicious (and free!) dinner. All are welcome! 

    Friday, November 7th at 6:30pm- JSU Shabbat Dinner 
    Celebrate Shabbat with friends from JSU in Campus Ministry. All are welcome!

    Wednesday, December 3rd at 7:30pm- JSU Hannukah Party 
    Immediately following the Christmas Tree Lighting on SU's campus, our community will gather in Campus Ministry to celebrate the other "Festival of Lights"! There will be plenty of gelt, latkes and jelly doughnuts-- so bring your friends!

    Hillel UW

    In addition to JSU, Hillel UW is great organization that exists in Seattle to support Jewish young adults. Many SU students are involved at Hillel UW. Hillel’s mission is to be a catalyst toward a meaningful Jewish life for 18-32 year olds through vibrant communities and innovative experiences. Services are held each week at 6:30pm, they last about an hour and are followed by a free, Kosher meal. You can get more information about Hillel by visiting their website at www.hilleluw.org

    Muslim Student Association (MSA) 

    The MSA exists to provide a place for Muslim students to meet and connect on the SU campus as well as provide opportunities for the wider community to experience and learn more about Islam through campus wide events and programs. The MSA organizes a regular Jumu’ah service on Friday mid-day in the Multifaith Prayer Room located in Campion Hall. The Multifaith Prayer Room is available for our Muslim students to pray in on a first come first serve basis 24 hours a day and seven days a week. Join us for our first interest meeting of the year and a FREE lunch on September 25 in the Campus Ministry office, STCN 120.
