Our Commitment to Scholarships for Talented and Deserving Students
Goal: $37 million
To attract intellectually gifted student leaders. To offer every deserving students—regardless of economic circumstance—the special advantages of a Seattle University education. To recruit and retain a student body that reflects in its rich diversity the city, the state and the nation it represents. To prepare tomorrow's leaders for personal accomplishment, professional achievement and public service dedicated to justice. In these ways, to make a marked difference in the lives of the students we serve.

Goal: $30.4 million

To offer enrichment programs for teachers and learners. To enhance the academic prestige of Seattle University. In these ways, to make a marked difference in the academic life of the university.

To create an "intellectual community square" for the entire university. To build an exceptional performing and visual arts center for the campus and our community. To build a foundation for future growth of Seattle University's intercollegiate athletic programs. To more closely merge Catholic intellectual tradition with the quest for academic excellence. To strengthen Seattle University's role as the intellectual center for Catholics of the Northwest. To embrace the Catholic Wisdom Tradition in all that we do. Goal: $13.6 Million
To encourage alumni investment in the future of Seattle University. To involve parents in the quality of student life. To bridge the critical gap between annual tuition revenues and actual university costs. To widen further the ever-widening circle of Seattle University friends. To provide the all-important "margin of excellence" dollars that makes the difference between a good university and a great one. In these ways, to realize our vision to "become the premier independent university of the Northwest in academic quality, Jesuit Catholic inspiration and service to society."
