Statement of Student Learning Outcomes

The educational goals specified in the Seattle University Strategic Plan flow from the University's Mission Statement. The Strategic Plan, agreed to and adopted in December 2000, continues to under gird the learning assessment process.

In April 2003, the University adopted an articulation of its learning outcomes for undergraduate and graduate students based on its educational goals. The learning outcomes are set forth below:
