Undergraduate Advising
The Albers advising staff focuses on both academic and professional
development. Academic advisors assist students with their transition to
college, plan their academic programs, explore their professional interests, and
create job-search strategies. Programs designed to meet specific needs,
such as preparing for graduate school or study-abroad opportunities, supplement
this one-on-one attention. For its holistic approach to advising, the National Academic Advising Association
(NACADA) awarded the 1997 Outstanding Institutional Advising Certificate
of Merit to the Albers School.
