Why Albers Business School?
Teaching Excellence
You will take classes from great teachers. Most of our faculty publish their research, consult with companies and have earned the highest degree possible in their field. Most importantly, we hire people who are good at teaching and truly care about your understanding and your success. Our faculty make it a priority to meet with students before and after class and most are available for questions in their office and over email daily.
Faculty Research/Publications List
Nationally Accredited (AACSB - International)
The Albers School is accredited by the prestigious
AACSB International - The Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of
Business. As of June 2007, less than 10 percent of the world’s business
schools and less than one third of U.S. business schools have
achieved business accreditation from AACSB.
Career Services
The Albers School has its own career services center for assisting business students in gaining the skills needed for starting and growing your career. It offers programs such as resume writing, interviewing skill, internships and job listings.
Diversity of Students / Faculty
We continue to be one of the most diversified business schools. Our students bring a variety of backgrounds to the classroom both culturally and professionally. The school also has one of the highest percentages of women faculty members in the country.

Flexibility

Connect with Faculty and Students
Seattle University's first emphasis is to teach, which is best done in small groups. Our student to faculty ratio is 14:1, and you'll never attend a class with hundreds of students in a large lecture hall. Business classes are small, usually less than 30 students. Faculty members--not graduate or teaching assistants--teach classes. Professors know you personally and are available with help when you need it. You'll know your classmates, too, and be able to talk with them about new concepts and your own ideas.
It's a Jesuit School
Jesuit Schools have a well-deserved reputation for high quality education dedicated to developing the whole person. The Albers School classes push you to develop a questioning attitude toward learning and to think for yourself how your actions as a manager might affect others. In addition, several classes offer the chance to serve your community through volunteerism.
