Here are some suggested resources to
skim for first night of class for Mgmt 574.
We will discuss definitions and examples the
first night that include:
The Bottom Line, The Double Bottom Line,
Triple Bottom Line, Sustainable Business,
Socially Responsible Organizations,
The Natural Step, and Social Enterprise as
starters. Checking out Starbuck's website
would be helpful to see how they handle the
triple bottom line with its mission
statement and an environmental mission
statement. In addition we will cover the
basics of how to do a Triple Bottom Line
business plan for a for-profit or
non-profit. Skimming some of the suggested
materials below would give us a good common
jumping off point on June 22. There will be
nothing to hand in from this.
