Global Business Outreach Initiative - Integrating Educational Resources

Recognizing that business issues, problems and opportunities frequently require specialized skills and knowledge outside specific business disciplines, EDGE has introduced an integrated approach to projects for business clients which draws on a diversity of disciplines (i.e. engineering, law, economics, information technology, environmental science, etc.) to provide multi-disciplinary student teams where such additional expertise is an asset to completing a project effectively.

The synergies established between these various academic schools, allow multi-disciplinary teams to be formed to provide an integrated approach to global business issues. Faculty members from participating schools also serve as additional project advisors when appropriate. Projects are structured to utilize the individual skills and knowledge of participating students effectively.
