Ivilina Popova's article, “Efficient Fund of Funds Construction Under Downside Risk Measures,” has been accepted for publication in the
Journal of Banking and Finance, Forthcoming.
Dr. Ivilina Popova taught at Purdue University for 5 years prior to joining Seattle University. She has worked for Deutsche Asset Management where she developed and implemented new portfolio allocation product. The size of the biggest investment brought and managed by the product is $6 billion. She has also worked as a head of research at Koch Capital Markets where she managed a group of quantitative research analysts and was responsible for model and execution improvements of two fundamentally based one statistical arbitrage and one-volatility equity strategies.
She has published articles in finance and management science journals including Journal of Banking and Finance, Journal of Derivatives, Quantitative Finance, Economic Theory, Advances in International Banking and Finance and Stochastic Models. She teaches Derivatives, Fixed Income Analysis and Managerial Finance.
