General Information:
Rick is an Adjunct Professor who has
been teaching at Seattle University for
the past 2 years after retiring from 25
years in industry. Rick was a Vice
President at T-Mobile and AT&T
Broadband, and was a part of the many
changes in the telecommunications and
high tech industries (break up of the
Bell System, Introduction of Cellular
phones, introduction of cable modems and
cable telephony, industry consolidations
(7 different mergers or spin offs).
During his career he was responsible for
developing several organizations into
recognized "best in class" operations
and coaching many employees for
leadership positions.
Rick teaches management, marketing,
leadership, motivating for high
performance and international business
studies (especially in developing
countries). He has traveled to both
India and China in 2006-07 meeting with
various businesses and has been able to
experience the issues and opportunities
facing developing nations.
