Description of Company:

AAA Washington is a not-for-profit that is part of a fully taxpaying federation of clubs the provides services to over 50 million members nationally. Besides providing traditional roaside assistance and auto travel services, we also create value to our members by being a leader in insurance and travel services in this state and northern Idaho. In addition we support safe driving and mobility initiatives, while arranging for discounted products and service for our members through "Show Your Card & Save" programs.

Areas of Responsibility - Job Description: 

In addition to overseeing traditional finance and accounting functions, my position is charged with optimizing investments through traditional financing sources and strategic intitiatives.

Areas of Expertise - Employment History: 

2005-2007: CFO/VP Finance Northwest Lions Foundation for Sight & Hearing, operating Sight Life and Audient Alliance programs. This not-for-profit is an innovative leader of global sight and hearing services creating humanitarian benefit.
2002-2005: VP Finance/Director Finance & Admin/Consultant for Center for Health Promotion/Free & Clear, Inc. Integral in successfully completing VC backed, for-profit spin-off from Group Health.
2000-2002: CFO/EVP Open Telecommunications North America, Inc. Part of team to start-up wholly-owned subsidiary of Australian parent providing software solutions to telecom carriers.
1999-2000: CFO, Manpower California Peninsula. $200M franchise of int'l staffing company.
1993-1999: CFO, Paradise Cruise, Ltd - hospitality and tour company in Honolulu.
Prior - Hornblower Cruises & Events, ATA Industries, Arthur Andersen Consulting Division.

Any special topic or expertise you'd like to concentrate on this year?:

Expertise is in privately held and not-for profit, small to medium sized businesses in a broad range of service businesses, particularly with financial and administrative operations. Also, have fairly good knowledge of personal marketing, resumes, career counseling, etc.

My office in Bellevue (very close to SU Bellevue campus) or on/near Seattle campus.

Draft of resume (with particular accomplishments), including experience and accomplishments as volunteer or involvement with clubs, organizations, etc.

Additional comments: 

Would like to focus on personal marketing/career development. Strongly believe in the values of a Jesuit education.
