Areas of Responsibility - Job Description: 

Jim Hebert is the president and founder of Hebert Research, a 29-year-old, privately held public policy research firm that serves clients locally, nationally, and internationally. Hebert Research was given the Emerging Business Award in 1992 by the Bellevue Chamber of Commerce. In 1996, Mr. Hebert was appointed an adjunct Professor of Business at the University of Washington and specialized in teaching new product development and then in 2006 as Professor of Business at Seattle University's graduate school of business.

Prior to forming Hebert Research at the age of 29, he was an assistant Vice President and Manager of Retail Banking for First Interstate Bank, now Wells Fargo Bank. Additionally, Mr. Hebert has served as the Chairman of the Board of the Bellevue Chamber of Commerce and has been extensively involved in public and private jurisdictions. His formal education was obtained from the University of Washington and Seattle University, where he received his Masters Degree in Business Administration.

Mr. Hebert's intellectual properties in the research profession involve his research procedures for price elasticity, demand forecasting and the building of business confidence indexes. He currently serves on the following boards; Seattle University Economics & Finance Advisory Board, Central Washington School of Business Advisory Board, the KeyBank Regional Advisory Board, Metafos and Geo-Engineers Board. In addition, he is Vice Chair and Co-Chair of Camp Korey which now owns Carnation Farm for 1200 children with serious and terminal illnesses throughout the Northwest.
