Description of Company:

Plum Creek Timber Company, Inc. is one of the largest private timberland owners in the US. Plum Creek manages timberlands to capture the most value from each acre. The Company manages timberlands following sustainable forestry practices and sells timber or logs to customers throughout the US. The Company works to maximize the value of all its assets, which include timberland, wood products manufacturing and natural resources. Plum Creek is a Real Estate Investment Trust (REIT).

Areas of Responsibility - Job Description: 

In house counsel managing litigation, handling human resource issues, ethics and compliance issues and general legal issues.

Areas of Expertise - Employment History: 

I have spent my entire career with Plum Creek and predecessor companies, working on a wide variety of transactions, contracts, corporate, legal, business and human resource issues.

Education - Personal History: 

BA from Wilson College (Major: History; Minors: Political Science and Art History)
JD from Temple University School of Law

Any special topic or expertise you'd like to concentrate on this year?:

I am very interested in business ethics and legal compliance as well as human resource and employment law issues.

Between 7am and 7pm; Seattle U is a good option.
