GMAT Prep Course and Becker CPA Review Scholarships

We are pleased to announce that Seke Jung has been awarded the GMAT prep course scholarship and Brett Jordan has been nominated to receive a Becker CPA Review Scholarship. Seke is an undergraduate student, planning on entering the MPAC program next academic year. Brett is currently an MPAC student, planning on graduating this coming fall.

MPAC Study Break, February 28, 5:00-5:45

MPAC students, come mingle with your accounting professors and find out where the department offices are. On February 28, 5:00pm, in the Department of Accounting offices on the 5th floor, we will be providing refreshments for all MPAC students. Please contact Susan at weihrich@seattleu.edu by February 27 if you are coming so we can order enough food.

Ella Mae Matsumura to Visit, March 7, 1:30-3:30, Pigott 416

Ella Mae Matsumura is an Associate Professor in Accounting in Department of Accounting and Information Systems at University of Wisconsin, Madison. Her research focuses on cost management and audit quality issues. Her articles have appeared in leading accounting research journals. She is co-editor of Accounting Horizons and a past president of the American Accounting Association’s Management Accounting Section. All students are invited to hear Ella Mae’s presentation on March 7 at 1:30 in Pigott 416.
