Chris Weber's and David Rapach's article,

Dr. Weber will travel to Winston-Salem, NC in

Fr. Sundborg has appointed Chris Weber as the OBrien Chair for the FY04-FY05 term. Congratulations to Chris for being recognized with this honor. As part of his proposal for the chair, Chris will be working on completing three books - one on the development of utility theory, a second on economic reasoning for theologians, and a third presenting biographies on five contemporary economists.

Chris Weber was a guest on the National Public Radio show "Talk of
the Nation" on August 29, 2002. The topic was traffic in Seattle and
how tolls and other strategies can be used to help relieve our pain. The
show was carried on KUOW, 94.5 FM.
The July 31, 2002 edition of the Seattle Post Intelligencer featured an editorial by Chris Weber, "Make tolls part of transportation fix,"
advocating the use of tolls as part of the solution to the Puget Sounds transportation problem.
Gareth Green and Joe Phillips also signed the editorial. Chris did two radio call-in shows that day on the toll topic, as well.

Chris Weber, was a guest on the Kirby Wilbur show on 570 KVI AM radio for
Wednesday, July 31, 2002 at 7 a.m. Chris discussed the current state of the
traffic congestion problems in the Seattle/Tacoma area, specifically regarding
the use of toll roads. Kirby Wilbur is the conservative, morning drive, talk
show host for KVI Radio, 570 AM.
