Harriet Stephenson was quoted in a story March 22, 2003 in the Seattle Post Intelligencer - “Rough time to open business is made rougher by the war.

Harriet Stephenson has been re-appointed to a second three-year term as the Lawrence K. Johnson Chair of Entrepreneurship. 

Harriet Stephenson was quoted in an article in the Seattle Times outlining the prospects for the retailing industry in 2003. In the January 19th edition, Harriet said expect to see some shake out this year. The story was reprinted in CNN Money.

Congratulations to Harriet Stephenson and Diane Lockwood. Their article, “A Global Triple Bottom Line In Action: Starbucks’ Green Coffee Purchasing Program” has been accepted for publication in the Journal of the International Academy of Case Studies. The article is co-authored with an MBA student.

The article, "Chubby & Tubby Slims Down as Owners Look for Buyer", featuring Harriet Stephenson, appeared in the Seattle Post Intelligencer, Tuesday, December 16, 2002.

The Center for E-Commerce and Information Systems hosted a Global Technology Management Program for Chungnam University and Kongju University (Daejon, Korea) from July 10 to July 13, 2001. Sixty people, including 55 students, 3 graduate assistants and 2 professors, attended seminars on technology management. Seminars were offered by Professors Bonn-Oh Kim, Bob Callahan, Harriet Stephenson, from Albers School and Ev Mills (Computer Science), Greg Silverman (Law School) and Dr. Jae Kim from Boeing.

Harriet Stephenson’s paper entitled, "Are Business Decision Makers Still Unethical Especially Compared With Oneself? A Longitudinal Study" was published in the Academy of Educational Leadership Journal (Vol. 2, No. 2, 1998, pp. 40-53.)
