Professional History:
Dr. Bruce Koch teaches Financial and Managerial Accounting classes at Seattle University. Bruce holds a Bachelor's and Master’s degree in Accounting from University of Florida and a PhD from the Ohio State University. He is also a Texas CPA. Bruce has taught at New York University, University of North Texas, ESSEC (France), Fordham University and Seton Hall University. He served as President of the Faculty Senate at University of North Texas.
Professor Koch has extensive academic and industry experience. He has published in many academic journals including The Accounting Review, Accounting Organizations and Society, The Engineering Economist, Journal of Management Accounting Research, Issues in Accounting, Education, Research in Governmental and Nonprofit Accounting, The Journal of the American Taxation Association and the Journal of Business Communications. In addition, he has written several books including Royalty Trusts, CPA Review (Financial Accounting) and FASB Update for Industry. He also has taught numerous continuing education courses worldwide for the AICPA and the Professional Development Institute.
