David Carrithers was selected to receive the 2008 Senior Class Outstanding Faculty Award.

David Carrithers' article, co-authored with John Bean and Theresa Earenfight, "Transforming WAC Through a Discourse-Based Approach to University Outcomes Assessment," has been accepted for publication in The WAC Journal. [WAC as in “Writing Across the Curriculum”]

Congratulations to David Carrithers and Teresa Ling. They have received a $5,000 award from the Office of the Provost to support their assessment project, “Quantitative Literacy and Argument: A Proposal to Improve Critical Thinking and Communication Skills in the Finance Curriculum.” They are working with John Bean (English Department) and Heather McGilvray (Math Department) on the project. April 2004.
