Touring Italy!

Professors Barbara Yates and Ann Dawson. This picture was taken at a site visit taken on the Italian Study Tour. We went to a research center of a pasta company where new recipes and product prototypes are tested. We're on our way to the test kitchen and the robes and hats are to protect the products from contamination. Great fun!

A dedicated VITA volunteer

Ann Dawson viewed it as an opportunity to "do" accounting when she managed the Seattle University Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA) program.  She claims, "It was fun to work again with the public, and to watch our students develop professional skills outside of the classroom."
