Professional History:

Hildegard R. Hendrickson was born in Yugoslavia; the family was of German origin, and had to leave their home at the end of WW. II, and was taken to Austria. She came to the USA to pursue her university education, earning a B.A.; MBA; and PH.D. from the University of Washington.

In 1967 she joined Seattle University to assist in starting the MBA degree program, which at that time was the only evening, part-time MBA degree program in the Seattle area.  Until her retirement in 1996 she was the only instructor for the courses in Money and Capital Markets. She also chaired the Department of Economics. For many years she scheduled the courses for the ASBE, and also served as acting associate dean, and many, many university and school committees.

For twenty-five summers she was on the faculty of the National School of Banking which is held at Fairfield University, Fairfield, CT.

She served at Seattle University between 1967 - 1996 and is still very active in our community.
