David Gallimore, M.Ed, is a leader with
a twenty-two year record of
accomplishment in nine startups for
seven different organizations, including
IBM, Wall Data Software, Fourgen
Software, Boeing, The Seattle Bug
Safari, Seattle University, and his own,
Ventura Project Group.
Ventura Project Group manages
new IT and business start-up projects
for
established Pacific Northwest companies.

As an Associate of VentureQuestLtd,
LLC., in 2005 he worked with Principal
Investigators to quickly filter out weak
business concepts and create new
licensing revenue and companies with Oak
Ridge National Labs and Los Alamos
National Labs. David has evaluated the
strengths of technology companies for
potential strategic alliances as part of
his responsibility with Boeing’s
Chairman’s Innovation Initiative
corporate venturing fund.
With the Center for Ethical Leadership,
he ideveloped a new community of
practice model to strengthen the fabric
of ethical leadership that exists in the
world.
His functional and management background
includes management consulting, business
development, corporate venturing,
e-Business, web-based application
development, information systems
management, IT consulting, process
re-engineering, training and human
resource development, customer service,
sales, and marketing.
David’s industry experience includes
software and internet technology,
aerospace, multi-media training,
manufacturing, distribution, non-profit,
venture capital, medical malpractice,
and renewable energy.
He has strong communication,
facilitation, teaching, team work,
analytical and leadership skills with
both technical (Principal Investigators,
engineers, scientists, etc.) and
business people. David is able to
develop strong working together
relationships with executives, peers,
customers and suppliers and manage
employees both administratively and
functionally through disciplined program
management.
KEY WORK
Created a new IT training business for
IBM that grew to $7 million in two
years.
Improved the sales, marketing, and
training for Wall Data that helped the
company grow greater than 100% each year
for three years and raise $52 million in
an IPO.
Improved the sales, marketing and
training for FourGen that helped the
company grow 100% and obtain $10 million
in mezzanine financing.
Created MyBoeingFleet.com and Flight
Technical Services On-Line at Boeing.
These B2B web sites are saving Boeing,
airlines, and suppliers millions of
dollars a year in reduced paper
publishing, distribution costs, and
cycle time. Boeing is also enjoying new
web-enabled revenue.
Leveraged the MyBoeingFleet.com brand to
start new e-Business consulting and
access fees service businesses.
Created a new spin-in called Wireless
Gatelink, which is accelerating the
business plan for Boeing’s Flight
Services by 18 months.
Created a business plan with Brian Rolf
to start The Seattle Bug Safari, a new
Seattle attraction.
Co-founded a new
community development and
entrepreneurship clinic with the Center
for Entrepreneurship. Law and business
students team up with local business and
legal leaders and two micro-lending
organizations, WA Cash and Community
Capital, to provide free consulting to
new and existing companies and real
world learning opportunities for the
students.
