Hello,
On behalf of the administration, faculty, staff, and students in the Center for the Study of Sport & Exercise, welcome to Seattle and IAPS 2009. The axiom that timing is everything is truly appropriate with regard to your conference as our graduate course in sport philosophy occurs in spring enabling our faculty and students to discuss informally the many topics your event will present formally in August. Timing may be even more evident in the August 27-30 dates which coincide with the spectacular weather that we in the Northwest await all year. Be sure to arrive with plans to explore one of the most glorious parts of the planet. As you prepare for the conference, please feel free to use this site to contact our two incredible conference coordinators, Nick Schmidt (scheduling, presentations, and conference details) and Rose Kaser (lodging, meal plans, and campus services), who will gladly answer questions and respond to your needs.
We look forward to hosting you this summer,
Dan G. Tripps, Ph.D.DirectorCenter for the Study of Sport & Exercise
