Biography

Kristin Ondrak received her doctorate in human movement science from the School of Medicine, University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. Her areas of expertise include exercise physiology and epidemiology.

Ondrak' scholarship includes “The Relationship Between Serum and Salivary Cortisol Levels in Response to Different Intensities of Exercise,” with M.D. VanBruggen, A.C. Hackney, and R.G. McMurray, in the International Journal of Sports Physiology and Performance (2009), “Energy Balance and Weight Control (Male and Female): Considerations" in Contemporary Endocrinology Series: Sports Endocrinology (in press), and “Interrelationships Among Changes in Leptin, Insulin, Cortisol and Growth Hormone and Weight Status in Youth," with R.G. McMurray, A.C. Hackney, and J. S. Harrell, in the Journal of Clinical Research in Pediatric Endocrinology ( 2011).
