The Institute of Public Service (IPS) also offers a joint Bachelor of Arts in Public Affairs/Master of Public Administration (MPA) degree option. For joint degree students only, there is a reduced, 36 graduate credit requirement for the MPA degree. The graduate degree can be completed in four additional quarters.
Public Affairs students with a minimum 3.00 cumulative grade point average (GPA) are eligible to apply for the accelerated MPA degree. Please note that acceptance into the MPA program is competitive, and the Bachelor of Arts in Public Affairs degree does not guarantee admission into the MPA program.
If you are interested in the MPA program, go to http://www.seattleu.edu/artsci/ips/.
