Public Affairs students intern at a variety of public and
nonprofit agencies. Students receive internship opportunities from their advisor by email every week. Students are encouraged to identify an organization they want to explore as a possible place of employment. Job and internship postings can also be found on the Career Services Redhawk Network at www.seattleu.edu/careerservices/default.aspx.
"As a health policy research intern, I tracked the status and priority of WA state legislative bills that were pertinent to Wilson Strategic Communications clients. I was exposed to the legal and administrative aspects of health policy formation through shadowing colleagues." - Robby Zehra, Health Policy Internship, Wilson Strategic Communications
