The College of Arts and Sciences recognizes that many students come to Seattle University wishing to explore academic programs and careers before committing themselves to a major. . Premajor Studies is intended to provide freshmen and sophomores with this opportunity while assuring that they are well prepared for whatever direction they choose.

Each student is assigned an advisor who not only assists in arranging the student's program, but will aid in the process of making an academic and career decision.
