NPLR 315, Introduction to Nonprofit Leadership, is offered
every fall, winter, and spring quarter, and a complement of two
to three other Nonprofit Leadership classes are also offered
every quarter. Below are course descriptions for all of the
Nonprofit Leadership classes as listed in the Bulletin. Other
special topics (e.g., Team Building, Social Marketing,
International Nongovernmental Organizations) are offered

An overview of the nonprofit sector,
with particular emphasis on charitable (501c3) nonprofit
organizations. Explores the scope and context of the sector,
historical developments, management and leadership challenges,
community-building roles, reform issues, and ethics.

and tactical planning; linking evaluation to planning and
