MPA Student, Adam Tousley receives Spirit of Community Award

MPA Student, Adam Tousley was one of three students to receive the 2012 Spirit of Community Award. Adam was awarded at the 8th Annual Spirit of Community Celebration on Tuesday, April 24th in Seattle University's Campion Ballroom.

Each year, the Center for Service and Community Engagement recognizes a student who demonstrates service to the community with dedication, integrity,humility, thoughtful leadership, compassion and soul, and a deep understanding of social justice.                                   

Adam was recognized for his role as Seattle University's Vet Corps representative. He helps fellow Veterans understand what services are available, and works to establish connections that will benefit Veterans. He is a member of the Veterans Working Group and serves as an officer on the Seattle University Veterans Committee, a social support and service group for student vets and families.
