    Seattle University Career Services 
    Current students and alumni have access to Seattle University Career Services. Career Services offers resources to connect with internships, jobs and networking opportunities. Career services has two upcoming workshop opportunities for graduate students:

        Leveraging LinkedIn

    • Tuesday, November 3, 2015, 5-5:50pm, Engineering Building, Room 312
    • Learn how to build your profile and leverage LinkedIn as an online networking tool. This workshop will provide a brief overview of LinkedIn and will offer resources to enhance LinkedIn profiles for networking and job search   processes.           Interviewing Strategies

    • Thursday, November 12, 2015, 5-5:50pm, Administration Building, Room 221
    • Learn interview strategies and gain confidence in the interview room. This workshop will provide an overview of interviewing strategies as well as offer opportunities to practice the STAR method, a proven interviewing technique.     Fire Science Guide to Public Service
    The Fire Science Guide to Public Service was created to help interested students and professionals better understand the many public service areas of employment, including what the various jobs entail, job growth outlook, and what employees can expect to earn. Updates to the guide include, a comprehensive review of the varied sectors in the public service field, an expanded list of volunteer and internship opportunities to help students toward their professional goals, and an exploration of the Public Service Loan Forgiveness program: who is eligible, how to apply, and more.
