Employment Confluence: Navigating the Job Market Networking Night

Seattle University Graduate Student Council, in collaboration with Career Services and the Institute of Public Service, hosted the Employment Confluence: Navigating the Job Market Networking Night for graduate students on Monday, February 13th, 2012 at Seattle University. The event was designed by MPA Graduate Student Council Member, Tina Johnson, to better prepare graduate students to navigate the complex job market and provide students with employer networking  opportunities.                                                                                                                                                                                                                                      Employment Confluence President Sundborg                                                                                                                                    Opening remarks for the evening were provided by President Stephen Sundborg. Students had an opportunity to network with employers and attend a panel discussion on top tips for employment navigation. Panelists included MPA alumni Mellicia Marx and Monica McCallum. The evening concluded with two workshop sessions on Navigating USAjobs and neo.gov.
