Seattle University’s Institute of Public Service presents: 2013 Policy Incubator Competition Presentations

Join us to support the four policy finalists on Thursday, March 21st from 5:00-7:30pm at Seattle University, Casey Commons 5th Floor

Catered reception from 5:00 – 5:45pm. Presentations from 5:45 - 7:30pm.

In the Fall, students in Master of Public Administration and Master of Nonprofit Leadership programs submitted papers proposing innovative public policy solutions to issues facing our region. Four finalists will present their papers to a panel of judges and the Seattle University community on March 21st.

The finalists are:

Jessica Havens: One Drink, Two Drinks, How Many Drinks are in a Mixed Drink?
Andrew Musson: Increasing Organ Donor Registration Rates through Effective Applications of Behavioral Economics
Eric Sanders: Seasonal Service on Sounder’s North Line
Melissa Tribelhorn: Improving Program Attendance Outcomes for Seattle’s At-Risk Girls

The Institute of Public Service is honored to welcome three judges, who will be tasked with selecting the winning paper and presentation:

Sally J. Clark, Seattle City Council President
Fred Jarrett, Deputy King County Executive
Tony Lee, Advocacy Director at Solid Ground
