Do you have an exceptional staff member or volunteer whom you’d like to recognize?

Seattle University’s Master of Nonprofit Leadership (MNPL) program is seeking nominations for the Emerging Leaders Fellowship.

The fellowship identifies emerging nonprofit leaders looking to enhance their education in the nonprofit field. Nominees must have a Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university, and at least two years of nonprofit work experience.

Fellowship recipients will receive the following benefits:

  • Up to $5,000 scholarship for the MNPL program.
  • Free admission to the Service in Action Seminar Series – professional development workshops for one year ($250 value).
  • Attend a luncheon with nonprofit leaders.
  • Nominee and organization will be featured in the MNPL newsletter and program website, as well as recognized at an MNPL annual event.
  • Free admission to the WA State Nonprofit Conference held in May.

Process:

Please take the time to think about one or more of your staff members or volunteers whom you’d like to nominate for the MNPL Emerging Leaders Fellowship. Click here to fill out the nomination form. Nominations should be received by Friday, February 15th.

Nominees will be notified by Friday, February 22nd and invited to meet with the MNPL director to discuss the program and fellowship. Nominees will need to submit a Master of Nonprofit Leadership (MNPL) admissions application by Monday, April 15th.

Nominees selected for the Emerging Leaders Fellowship will start the 45-credit MNPL program in the Fall.

MNPL Background:

The MNPL program empowers individuals to lead nonprofit organizations, serve communities, advance social justice, and advocate for a better future.

Our curriculum strengthens a student’s capacity for nimble decision-making, creative problem solving, and inspiring leadership.

Our program is designed for working professionals; classes are offered in the evenings and on Saturdays.

Our students represent a diverse cohort of individuals working across sectors.

Our faculty are experienced practitioners and scholars in the nonprofit field.

Our alumni are nonprofit leaders, who connect students to an active network of local professionals and organizations.
