The Arts Leadership Club (TALC) would like to introduce you to our updated website at talcsu.org; dedicated to focusing on discussion and advocating for our various interests in the arts! We have many goals for this website, but one main goal is for talcsu.org to act as a resource for all of us, connecting alumni and current MFA students.
As we gain momentum by developing the forum and discussion side of TALC, we equally work to promote and advance the prestige of the MFA program by highlighting the impact of its current and past participants in Seattle and the arts world at large. We have many ideas for doing this, beginning by networking with all that have been through the MFA program. We are currently looking to create a contacts list detailing ways to get in touch with each other. This will include you sharing current and past affiliations such as where you've worked, interned, or volunteered your time as well as places you still have connection to. Our hope is to help TALC and the MFA program become a strong networking community, by sharing organizations that have an introduction to the work our colleagues can do while providing interested participants a point of contact when seeking entry to new organizations. By participating with TALC, we will be positively adding to your online profile. If a future employer, donor or colleague is searching you online, we hope that the connection with talcsu.org will benefit you in adding to your credibility as an arts professional.
We are looking to provide the following contact information on the website under its “community” section. Please see talcsu.org/community for examples. We would like to give you the opportunity to provide all or part of the contact details if you so desire. Additionally, if you do not want this information provided online-but would like to provide your contact details to us in the event someone requests that information privately, we welcome that option as well. Please let us know your preferences in your response.
Please reply to TALC at talcsu@gmail.com with yourName, Cohort Year, Phone Number, Email, Interests/Focus, Past Affiliations, Current Affiliations.
