Kim Thomas first began working at FareStart, a culinary training and job placement program for disadvantaged men and women, in 2009 while earning her MFA degree in Arts Leadership at Seattle University. Upon graduation in June 2011, she discovered that working with FareStart's national program, Catalyst Kitchens, provided her the perfect opportunity to directly apply her background in culinary arts, social justice and leadership. As Member Resources Coordinator, Kim handles frontline communications, coordination of member services and benefits, and outreach efforts.
