The American Journal of Arts Management serves the arts management field with articles and research submitted by educators and professionals within the industry.
The MFA in Arts Leadership is a full member program in the Association of Arts Administration Educators.
Sarah Butler, MFA class of 2012, Fashion Events and Editorial Director for The Bellevue Collection has launched the second annual Independent Designer Runway Show.
The first issue of the American Journal of Arts Management has just been published. Professor Kevin Maifeld, director of the MFA in Arts Leadership, edits the journal along with Professor David Edelman, Shenandoah Conservatory. The free online journal bridges the scholarly divide between academia and professional nonprofit arts organizations.
Greg Dole, MFA Arts Leadership Class of 2012, has recently accepted a new position as the Grants Director for the Arts Council of Greater Baton Rouge. "In 2011-2012, the Arts Council granted over $750,000 to arts organizations in the eleven-parish area served by the Arts Council..."

Sharon N. Williams, MFA in Arts Leadership class of 2009, has been hired by CD Forum as the new managing director.
David Orace Kelly, MFA in Arts Leadership, class of 2010, has been named the executive director of the Federal Way Symphony.
Woong Jo Chang joins the faculty in the MFA in Arts Leadership program. A scholar in arts management and cultural policy as well as an artist and former arts manager, his current research focuses on small arts organizations.
Steve Galatro, MFA '09, is the new executive director at Pratt Fine Arts Center, a nonprofit multidisciplinary arts education center in Seattle.
